We specialize in turning tired looking bungalows and dormer dwellings into stunning two storey residences with generous light filled spaces and beautifully framed views.
Bungalow Remodel – Completed
This traditional narrow and long bungalow was in need of refurbishment and an eye-catching extension. The large glazing to the front makes the most of the south facing orientation of the house.
A Modern Take – Completed
This well located bungalow with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside was in bad need of a new lease of life. The modern styling was inspired by the already unique look of the property.

One to Two Storey – Completed
This countryside bungalow from the 70’s had served it’s owners well. It was time for a retro-fit energy wise and an opportunity arose to do a ‘little’ more. The double-height entrance and spacious bedrooms upstairs have worked out well.
Reborn and Updated – Completed
In an estate of similar styled houses, getting a modern design that does not detract from the surrounding dwellings was never going to be easy. Putting on another floor gave the much needed space for a generous modern family home.

Compact Homes
With changes on the horizon to planning Exemption limits and Local Needs requirements, this is the perfect time to start thinking about building a new compact home. Whether you’re building your first home, looking to downsize from a bigger house or just like the idea of more compact sustainable living, we can design it for you, using the highest quality materials to the highest quality standards.
Modern & Compact – Mews
Traditional Mews lane houses doesn’t have to be traditional at all. They can be living and working spaces such as ground floor offices and first floor houses.*
Modern & Compact – Exempt
A well positioned and designed compact house in a rear garden space or an adjoining site can be discrete yet tasteful. A sense of permanence through materials sets designs apart from the stale garden pod standard. *

Compact House – Design
Simple design can provide a wealth of opportunities to make compact living spaces feel open and airy. Covered outdoor spaces become part of the house making it feel bigger and brighter.
Compact Living
Modern design doesn’t mean your rooms will be cold and exposed to sheets of inefficient glazing. New materials, higher levels of insulation and air tightness, all contribute to much cozier homes despite large areas of glazing or high ceilings .*

Giuliano’s design completely transformed our home and made it into an airy light-filled space where once it was dark, damp and without views. We really love it!
